Lunchtime Recital

If you are in the North West of the UK and want to liven up your lunchtime this Thursday, 15th October, then why not go to a concert.

It is the last chance to see Robin perform in the UK this year, so if you can make it, the place to be is St. Andrews & St. George's Church.

Lunch will be served from midday and the concert starts promptly at 12.45, finishing at 1.30.

The programme will include Renaissance Lute Pieces, Tarrega, Dilermando Reis, Iradier, Sabicas and some traditional flamenco, so is an ideal way to brighten up your Thursday.

Well played Robin. It was a pleasure to see you in action today. And especially thanks for playing "Leyenda", my favourite. I know you hadn't expected to play it, but any jaws that hadn't yet dropped to the floor with your virtuoso performance of the planned programme, must have gone during that encore. You made quite an impression with the folk around me. The gentleman next to me commented that in all the time he had been attending these concerts he had not seen such fluency and mastery of an instrument.
Great programme. Well done.

Many thanks for your comment.

We are delighted that you enjoyed the concert so much and Robin was happy to play 'Asturias' for you.

In fact, you did him a favour, as he realised when playing the penultimate piece, that he hadn't decided on an encore.

So actually you helped him out!
